Linking Directly in Emails

Links directly to iQ-Webbook may be sent within an email to provide potential guests with one click access to your booking site. There are several options available depending on the type of link you would like to send.

General Booking:​

Using the same URL found in the Admin page (View Site link) to include in email messages will provide guests with a generic link to your booking engine. It will default to the current date with no restricted rates displayed by default. Guests will need to choose the dates of stay to view rates.

Group or Promotional Code Specific​

To include a link directly to your booking engine that displays rates for a Group Code and/or Promotional Code, you may include the code in the URL so guests are not required to enter this. This is the recommended method of sending promo codes or group codes that are not date restricted. WebBook will default to the current date and display rates including the provided group or promotional code. The format for this URL is:

https://us01.iqwebbook.com/(SITEID)/~/?coupon=(GROUPCODE)

Where (SITEID) is the ID code for iQ-Webbook and (GROUPCODE) is the group or promo code defined in iQ-WebBook

You may also generate this URL within the iQ-WebBook admin page by selecting Promotional Codes from the menu and clicking the URL button next to the Promo code you would like use. Don't enter any dates, and click Generate. You may then copy the URL displayed to use in your emails.

Date Specific​

Similar to the group code above, you may create a URL that automatically specifies the dates of stay for a guest and goes directly to the room and rate display. This is a great option when sending emails for specific events or dates. This URL takes the format of

https://us01.iqwebbook.com/(SITEID)/~/?arrivalDate=Mon,%20Jul%204%202022&departureDate=Thu,%20Jul%207%202022

Where (SITEID) is the ID code for iQ-Webbook and the arrivalDate and departureDate are a date in the format of ddd, MMM d yyyy format.
Example: arrivalDate=Tue, Oct 23 2024

Promotional Code and Date Specific​

A commonly used link will include both a group/promo code along with a date. This URL may be generated using the same steps above and entering a check in and out date when prompted. The URL created will follow the format

https://us01.iqwebbook.com/(SITEID)/~/?coupon=(GROUPCODE)&arrivalDate=Fri,%20Oct%2021%202022&departureDate=Sun,%20Oct%2023%202022
