Booking.com

Booking.com is a world leader in booking accommodations online with over 550,000 rooms nights reserved each day. The booking engine attracts both leisure and business sectors worldwide with guaranteed best available pricing on an informative and user-friendly website.

The XML Interface between roomMaster and Booking.com offers the following features:

  • Daily inventory synchronization including updates every five minutes
  • Rates
  • Minimum and maximum length of stay restrictions on rate code level
  • Rate closures
  • Closed for Arrival and Closed for Departure
  • Reservation synchronization (New, Modify, Cancel)
  • Booking confirmations (roomMaster confirmation number sent to Booking.com)

Getting Started – Three Easy Steps

  1. Contact your local InnQuest Software representative to complete the sign-up for the interface. The process is completed online and there is no contract or long-term commitment. There is a very low per reservation transaction fee for the interface.

  2. Contact your Booking.com Account Manager to request the XML integration. Upon approval of the request, Booking.com will provide the Hotel-XML-Agreement which must be completed and returned to the Account Manager.

  3. Booking.com will internally validate the hotel settings and provide InnQuest Software with access to the mapping services. An InnQuest Software support person will install and train you on the interface.

Interface Caveats

It is important to note the following when switching from manual updates via the extranet over to the XML Interface:

  • All Availability, Rates and Restrictions updates can only be sent through the interface. Manual entries can no longer be submitted in the extranet.
  • Modifications and cancellations for reservations booked prior to being active on the XML interface will continue to be received via fax and/or email from Booking.com.
  • Warning notifications will be returned on the interface for any dates attempting to set inventory to lower than the contracted Fixed Allotment amount (Warnings can be viewed from Reserve > Web/GDS Log > iQ-WorldLink Warnings).
