iQ-Schedule Default View
Initial Options
Allow Events to be Resized/Moved - These options allow you to change an event, like a meeting room booking, simply by clicking and dragging. Lengthen or shorten the total time of the event by clicking on the circle at the start or end time and dragging it to the new time. Move an item to a different resource, for instance a different meeting room, by clicking in the middle of the item and dragging to the correct time in the resource you want.
Default Time Scale - Use the drop down box to select the default time interval on the calendar screen when iQ-Schedule is opened.
Load Prior Days - Enter the number of days prior to the current audit date you want displayed on all calendars. Requesting more prior days can slow down the program, especially if there are many events on the prior days.
Default View Type - Calendars can be displayed by Day, Week, or Month.
General Appearance
Show Next/Previous Event Buttons - Buttons will appear on either side of the calendar allowing you to jump to the next scheduled event. The buttons only appear if no events are displayed on the current calendar screen.
Start week with Monday - The calendars will start on Monday rather than Sunday when checked.
Refresh/Update Events - Enter how often to refresh the screen and update the calendars.
Non Working Hours Color - Select a color to display for the non working hours of all the calendars. Changing the color makes it easier to see non working hours for the calendar and the non working hours for any resources.
Weekly View
First show in MultiColumn Mode - When selected, the weekly calendar will default to the MultiColumn format. The MultiColumn Mode displays all the calendar resources for each day of the week at the same time. This is great for calendars with multiple resources. For example, for meeting rooms this option allows you to see all meeting rooms at the same time, making it easy to book the best room available, or reassign rooms if needed. Single-Column Mode only displays the days of the week and the events for the week.
Show End Time of Events when in Single-Column Mode - The start time displays by default for all events. Select this option to display the end time also.
Show Start and End Times as Clocks when in Single-Column Mode - Select this option to display the times selected using analog clocks. PM times are shown with a black clock face.
Monthly View
Compress Weekend Days - This option displays Saturday and Sunday in the same column on the monthly calendar. This option can only be used when Start week with Monday is selected.
Show End Time of Events when in Single-Column Mode - The start time displays by default for all events. Select this option to display the end time also.
Show Start and End Times as Clocks when in Single-Column Mode - Select this option to display start and end times, if selected, with analog clocks. PM times are shown with a black clock face.
