iQ-Schedule Security
User access to iQ-Schedule can be configured for No Access, Limited Access or Full Access.
No Access
Go to Setup > Menu Profiles and change the iQ-Schedule option to No for any menu classes you do not want to have access to iQ-Schedule. Then, go to Setup > User Profiles > select the user > Access tab and verify the proper menu class is selected for users that should not have access to iQ-Schedule.
Note: Users with no access to iQ-Schedule will not be able to see the iQ-Schedule tab on reservations and folios, preventing them from seeing any scheduled events for the guest. The Calendar icon will also not appear on the Second Tool Bar.
Limited Access
Go to Setup > User Profiles > select the user > Access tab. Verify the user profile is set to a menu class with the iQ-Schedule option set to Yes and the Change iQ-Schedule Events option is not checked. This will allow the user to see the scheduled guest events but not be able to change them. ReadOnly appears in the title bar of the calendar screen when a user has limited access to iQ-Schedule.
Full Access
Complete the steps for Limited Access users then go to Setup > User Profiles > select the user > Access tab, and check the Change iQ-Schedule Events. This gives the user full access to view and change iQ-Schedule events.
Note: All changes to iQ-Schedule events are logged in the event Change Journal, allowing you to track changes made and the user that made them.
Configuring iQ-Schedule
To open iQ-Schedule, go to Tools & Utilities > iQ-Schedule or click on the Calendar icon in the Second Tool Bar. Click Manage to configure iQ-Schedule. Only users with Manager or Supervisor have access to the Manage option.
