iQ-Gift Cards

The InnQuest Gift Card program is offered in all countries and is available through your local InnQuest Software Reseller. With the InnQuest Gift Card system, you are able to get up and running quickly.

Gift cards are a $100-billion-per-year phenomenon! Merchants of all types and sizes are using gift cards in a variety of ways. Besides just selling gift cards, they can be used to give back balances on folios instead of cash or as promotional items such as discounts and coupons.

With the InnQuest Gift Card System:

  • There are no terminal fees or equipment you need to buy!

  • You can process Gift Cards on any computer using roomMaster or iQ-POS.

  • You can create "Virtually Loaded Cards" such as "prepaid cards" that you can hand out as promotional items or coupons.

  • It's your money! All deposits on gift cards remain with you.

  • Your Gift Cards can be used across your chain or brand, allowing customers to load a card at property A and use it at property B.

  • All merchants can setup their own expirations and escheatment laws with an administrator at InnQuest Software, such as having the system automatically expire cards after being loaded or last used.

Two types of "Gift Cards"

There are two types of Gift Cards, Gift Cards and Promotional Cards (also known as Virtually Loaded). Card Type "G" is Gift Card and Card Type "P" is Promotional. When you order gift cards, you can specify if some, all or none are Virtually Loaded. Virtually Loaded cards come "Preloaded" with a specified amount on them. You can also create promotional cards at your property using Card Maintenance. You would use these as coupons and maybe give them out as a promotion. Since there was no actual payment/money collected to load the card, that is why they are identified as "Virtually Loaded" because the value is virtual - it really is not real money. These cards cannot be reloaded by the customer. When you batch out at the end of the day, the batch report will specify each Promotional Card transaction with a "P".
