Rebuild Forecast

Setup > Rebuild Forecast

Any time changes are made to Room Types, Room Information, or Availability Days, the forecast should be rebuilt. Otherwise, the forecasting feature of roomMaster can be inaccurate. Click on Setup > Rebuild Forecast to run the function. Be sure to run this option after setting up roomMaster.

When Rebuild Forecast is selected, roomMaster deletes the existing forecast, then creates a new forecast based upon:

• the number of rooms listed in the Rooms File that can be sold,

• how many rooms are being used in the Guest Ledger,

• room status (if Forecast Unavailable is checked in General Configuration),

• Reservations

• Group Blocks

Nobody else can be using roomMaster when a forecast is being rebuilt.
