Auto Location

If roomMaster is configured to automatically select the next room during reservations or check-in, the order of rooms for each room type can be set using Auto Location.

Rooms located higher in the list are selected before rooms located lower in the list. To move a room higher in the list, click on the room and then click on Move Up; likewise, to move a room lower on the list, click on the room and then click on Move Down.

If you do not set up any rooms using the auto location feature, rooms will be selected in room type and then room number order. This may not be the way you want to assign rooms. For example, room 101 may be near the ice machine, be the loudest room, a room near the elevator, etc and it may be the last room you want to occupy. Using the auto location feature, adjust the rooms for each room type that they should be selected.

Click on OK to save changes to the Auto Location list.
