Setup and Configuration
The Setup Configuration screen is where you define most of the settings for roomMaster with the exception of user profiles and city ledger defaults. Access by clicking on Setup in the menu bar, then Configuration. The screen is divided in to different categories to allow you to easily configure roomMaster.
The configuration screen consists of the following categories:
General | Property information and registration code |
System | Display Pictures, General Options, Wallpaper, Internet Settings, International Settings, Day of Week Setup |
Address Format | Address Field Names, Label Formats, ZIP/Postal Codes |
Reservations | Room Types, Rates, Room Numbers, Hold/Guarantee types, Discounts, Special Packages, Sign-In Sheets, Reservation Defaults, Share Options |
User Fields | Custom fields for reservations and folios |
Guest Ledger | Account Groups, Account codes, taxes, sales centers, sub folio options, auto post at checkin, special receipts, credit card processing, cash drawer configuration, dayend close |
History | Guest profile, guest history and journal history information |
Folio Setup | Folio print, language, and layout settings |
Maintenance Items | Automatic maintenance items |
Housekeeping | Configure housekeeping settings for housekeeping screens and reports |
Manage | Used with InnQuest Software technical support guidance only |
Security | Setup security for Supervisor users, as defined by management. "Manager" is a higher level access than "Supervisor". Also, setup workstation security options and limitations |
