You can right click once over any box to either checkin a guest, pull up an inhouse folio, change the status of the room, Walk-in a guest, see future and past stays for the room or see individual room properties. Room Chart
A display of all rooms with the room number and bed type. The system will show your occupied rooms (BROWN), Vacant/Clean rooms (GREEN), Vacant/Dirty rooms (YELLOW) and unavailable rooms (RED). If the reservation book icon is displayed in a room, there is a booking for that room arriving today, while the open door checkout icon means the in house guest is scheduled to depart on the current audit date. Right clicking displays a menu allowing you to update the housekeeping status of the room, review current, past, and future stays, review guest messages, and review the rooms' properties.
Room Display
The left side of the window displays a list of all rooms with their status or a list of all guests inhouse by name order. Use the options at the bottom of the window to filter the list by a specific group or display inhouse rooms only. Use the icons at the top of the right side of the screen to to select whether to display arrivals, departures, or both. The credit approval amount will be in red text.
Phone List
A quick list of all guests inhouse or have checked out today, in last name order. You can key in any piece of information in the find field and press Find. An example would be entering the license plate of a guest, their last name or first name, their city, state, room number, or almost any other piece of information located on the guest record.
You can right click on any record for additional options on each guest.
Setup (Custom font/colors)
If you are signed in with Manager authority, you have access to a Setup button on the Quick Room Display Room Chart screen. This will allow you to change the colors and fonts. It is highly recommended to keep the colors close to the same (ie: Green for Clean, Red for Unavailable, Yellow for Dirty, Brown for Occupied) for consistency throughout the program and not confuse the general users.
-
Disable automatic screen refresh stops the screen from refreshing automatically every 30 seconds.
-
Disable popup Status Window stops the popups of each box when the move hovers over it to give more information
-
Disable limit to Single Window Instance stops the system from making sure only one QRD (Quick Room Display) window can be opened at one time. This ensures that there is no exhaustion of memory, handles and resources in Windows and is recommended. You should only have one instance of the QRD opened at one time. (This setting is on the Workstation level and not global)
Pop up Status Window in Room Chart

The approval amount will highlight in red if the guest balance is greater than the approval amount. Click the down arrow with a check mark icon to display only departures that are over the amount of their credit approval. This allows you to easily see any departing guests that require additional approval prior to check out.
Follow Up's tab
This is a list of all reservations and inhouse guests that have a follow up flag. Use this to quickly review and access follow up flags that need to be resolved.
