Inventory Items

Inventory items are items that attach to a reservation which you only have a select number of. An example would be cots, cribs, snow mobiles, irons, etc.

Inventory items are setup in the account codes section

Creating an account code:

  1. Select Setup > Configuration > Guest Ledger > Account Codes
  2. Press Insert
  3. Add an account (usually 110-199)
  4. Enter description of the item
  5. Press Inventory Item tab
  6. Enter amount of items you have available
  7. Press OK to save
  8. Exit out of configuration and be sure to rebuild the forecast

Inventory items are displayed in the Availability/Room Chart by Room Type window

Displaying Inventory Item Availability:

  1. Select Front Desk > Availability/Room Chart. Inventory items are only displayed in by Room Type window

  2. On the room block summary, inventory items are listed underneath room types

Adding inventory items to a reservation

  1. Once in reservation, press More Options and then Daily Charges and Packages
  2. Press Insert
  3. Add account code of inventory item and adjust dates of use
  4. Press OK to exit out of Adding Daily Charge window
  5. Press Close to exit out of the Daily Charges and Packages Window

Printing a list of items in use, finished using and will be using

  1. Select Reports
  2. Select the Reservations Category
  3. Run Inventory Items report
