Follow Up Flags
roomMaster has the ability to flag any reservation or folio (up to seven different colors) to draw attention to the record. You can use the guest flags for reservations which need follow-up, reservations which need call-backs or management intervention, or just to flag special guests.
To set a Follow Up flag on a reservation or folio, click on More Options > Follow Up, then select the flag to you want to assign. A description of what the flag color means appears next to each flag. When selecting a reservation or folio from a browse screen, Reservation (F5) or Current Guests and Folios (F8), right click on the guest reservation or folio from the list then select Follow Up and the flag to assign.
Clear a flag from an open reservation or folio by clicking on it and pressing Yes at the prompt box.
Clear Flag
This option is available by right clicking on a reservation or folio and selecting, Follow-Up > Clear Flag. Choosing this option will clear the currently assigned flag from the selected folio or reservation.
Setup Flags
This option is available by right clicking on a reservation or folio from either the Reservation (F5) or Current Guests and Folios (F8) browse screens and selecting Follow-Up > Setup Flags. The Follow-Up Flag Labels setup screen will appear where you can change the assignment and meaning of any of the seven colored flags available. This allows you to tailor the Flag Follow-Up feature to your specific properties needs.
The Follow Up's tab on both the Reservation (F5) or Current Guests and Folios (F8) allows you to quickly see which reservations or folios require specific attention.
By default, he flags are not copied from Reservations to Folios during checkin. This is usually because the flag may be reservation only and have no bearing on the folio. If you want the flag to copy from the reservation to the folio at checkin, you can check Always copy reservation flag to folio during checkin which will retain the flag status with both.
The Follow Up Flags feature can also be setup to use one of the available color flags to show you which reservations were made through WebBook, our Real Time Internet Reservation System, or to flag reservations made through WorldLink, our Global Distribution System interface . This allows you to quickly and easily identify these reservations and take any action required.
