Sales Centers (Company / Groups / Travel Agent)
Sales Center Reports (Company, Groups and Travel Agents) uses a different set of logic/accounts to group the data. The reason for this is because Sales Center reporting is given to Clients (End-Users) rather than used internally by accounting or audit staff. Each account (Room, Phone, Spa, etc.) can be assigned a different Sales Center. If the account is not assigned a Sales Center, then it will simply not appear in the reports - unlike all the other normal Accounting/History reports.
Sales Center reports used the Sales Center designation for each account code. You can have up to five different Sales Centers. The accounting for this is updated nightly - during the night audit. Adjusting/changing the Sales Center configuration does not adjust past performance unless you manually Rebuild Sales Center Buckets which is located in Setup > Configuration > Guest Ledger > Sales Centers.
It would be common for the Transaction History and other accounting reports not to balance with Sales Centers if you do not assign a sales center to every single Revenue account.
