Desk Notes
Desk Notes gives you the ability to enter important information into roomMaster. The notes can be used as a reminder of something to be completed, following up with a guest, or as a daily log using the Desk Note Log. A user can only see their own notes and are secure from all other users. You are allowed up to 10 notes per workstation. If a user is logged on to more than one workstation at a time, notes will appear on both workstations. If you log off, notes will be saved and will appear automatically each time you log back on until you delete the notes.
To create a note, click Tools & Utilities > New Desk Note.
Credit Card information should never be entered in any location other than designated credit card entry fields. When saving a note, it will be checked for credit card information and if detected, will prevent the note from saving until removed. Additional checks are run on the database and if credit card information is detected, may be removed. NEVER ENTER CREDIT CARD DETAILS IN NOTES.

Desk Note Log
The desk note log allows the user to move the current Desk Note in to the Desk Note Log or the "Daily Log Book". Once it is transferred into the Desk Note Log, all users are able to see the note but the note cannot be modified. This allows each user to track the current day's activity under their own user profile and at the close of the day, move it as a permanent record in to the Desk Note Log. Open the Desk Note Log by clicking Tools > Desk Note Log.
