Guest Messages

Click on More Options, then Messages if there is a message to be kept for a guest while they are away from their room. Next, press Insert on your keyboard or click on Insert to create a message for a guest. A 30-character subject line can be entered, followed by an eight-line message. The messages are time and date stamped, and can be printed by clicking on Print or pressing Alt-P. To print all messages at once, click Print All Messages and Mark as Delivered. The messages will print to the default printer and be marked as delivered. If a message is marked as delivered by mistake, open the message and use the drop down box to replace Delivered with the appropriate status.

If a message is waiting for the guest, a check mark appears next to the Messages option and a thumbtack icon appears in the Message column on the Reservations (F5) and Current Guests and Folios (F8) screens
