Guest Ledger Properties
The Guest Ledger Properties screen has the same options as when checking in a guest and is accessed by clicking the Properties button at the bottom of the folio screen. Once a guest is in house, you have the option to change the length of stay, name or address information, payment information and other options.
In the Notes tab, you can add a note to the folio and have it "Pop-Up" each time a user selects the folio by selecting Show note to folio screen. This is helps the desk clerk know important information about the guest folio. An example would be to let the desk clerk know "Not to post 800 Numbers" or "Watch this guest, he may try to skip". If the Always open Guest Folio display with Guest Notes option is checked in Setup > Configuration > Guest Ledger, the Notes field will display every time the Folio is opened, even if no notes are entered.
The Housekeeping tab is where you can override the normal housekeeping schedule for a room. You can also enter a housekeeping note that will appear on the associates and housekeepers report. Usually this note would be "Needs Extra Towels" or "Do not clean room". If your property is a time share or has room owners that are paid a housekeeping fee, the default housekeeping fee can be overridden by checking the Override Housekeeping Agreement checkbox, entering a dollar amount and selecting whether the fee is per stay, per night or per week.
The Late CheckOut option lets you designate a folio as a late checkout. It can be used at any time while the folio is inhouse. Selecting this option prior to the guest departure date will ensure the room is noted as a late checkout on the morning housekeeping reports for the day of departure. It will also be noted on many of the screens through out roomMaster including the Quick Room Display, Current Guests and Folios, and Housekeeping. This makes sure each department is aware of the late checkout rooms and can handle them accordingly.
Moving a guest or rechecking in a guest is done using the appropriate button from the main folio screen.
You cannot change the guest stay to a date earlier than the current audit date.
Special Properties are available for audit information such as created, modified, last moved, etc. Click on the Confirmation number to open the guest reservation, if available.
Note: Walkin means a reservation was never created for this guest.
