Changing Shift

At any time, the current shift number can be changed by selecting Change Shift from the Front Desk menu. This change will effect every terminal logged on before the next transaction is completed. Example: If a terminal is in the guest ledger posting transactions to a folio and on another terminal, the shift number is changed and the next transaction posted on any terminal will be recorded under the new shift number.

When using a multi-station setup, it is important to coordinate changing the shift with all other users signed on to the system so transactions are recorded in the correct shift.

If a shift change is completed while another user is making changes in the Configuration screen, the changes made will not be saved, and will need to be re-entered.
