Group Pickup Report

The Group Pickup Report is used to quote the total number of posted and sold rooms at the end of the group. This is usually used to calculate the number of COMP rooms given back to a group once all the rooms are posted.

If COMP rooms do not affect ADR and are not posted to the folio, they will not appear on the report as Non Rev Rooms.

This report can be selected by from Front Desk > Group Block record (F7) > Printing & Contracts ... > Final Group Pickup Report.

The Group Pickup Report does not include reservations, only folios and history, and Room Revenue transactions posted to each folio that is part of the group.

Optional Incentive for Group

Most hotels give the group an incentive for their pickups, either by COMPing a room night for every number of room nights picked up. Common practice would be giving the Group Master one free room night per 50 room nights sold. If an amount is entered for Comp Factor, it defaults automatically for the COMP Room Factor.

In addition, credits are sometimes given back to the Group Master Folio based on the number of room nights sold such as $1.00 for each room night.

If you enter a value in any of the "Optional" fields, the calculation will appear at the bottom of the report.
