EPI - Trace

EPI Tracing is used by InnQuest Software support staff to trace events when posting and sessions are not working properly. A trace should only be activated under the direction of an InnQuest Software support representative.

Open Trace File - This option opens the EPI session logging file in Notepad.

Remove Trace Files - This option removes all EPI session logging files.

Send Trace File to Support - This option sends the EPI session logging files to the InnQuest Software FTP server.

Trace Options - This options opens a menu used to fine tune the tracing options. This should not be used

A Trace is Active message will appear on any session which is being traced. If you wish to add a comment to the trace file, press CTRL+M or press the Note icon to add a comment. All Events are not being trapped when the comment window is opened, so this window should be opened for as short a period as possible....example: 3 seconds maximum. Unless directed otherwise, trace files should not remain active. The files will become too large and start slowing down your system.
