EPI - Override Table

The override table gives you the ability to post transactions to folios or desk folios in roomMaster where the room number in your system may be different. An example would be that if rooms 130 through 135 were management rooms, and the transactions which happen to be phone calls should all be posted to the desk folio "Management Phone Calls".

Another example is if your system actually numbers your room numbers differently than roomMaster. The override table can be used to connect the two. An example would be your system numbers rooms 1001 to 1999, yet in roomMaster you number your rooms 1 through 999.

You also have the ability to make sure transactions are posted to a sub-folio within roomMaster such as a guest who wants their phone calls on a separate bill. You can enter room number 102 should be overridden to room number 102, sub-folio B. Make sure you setup folio B within roomMaster first.

To enter rooms in the override room table:

  1. Shut down any active sessions in EPI
  2. Select the configuration record (File, Open Configuration) you are using
  3. Select the Override Table tab
  4. Use Insert to add each entry
