Audit Date

The audit date is automatically advanced to the following date at the end of each Dayend Close. If your property is open year round, it is unlikely you will need to manually change the audit date other than when roomMaster is first installed or ready to go live. Seasonal properties may manually change the audit date to re-open each year and bring the audit date forward.

If you do not run a seven day a week operation, you should still run a Dayend Close for every day of the week. If you are not open 24 hours a day, it is good to run a Dayend Close before leaving for the day, or when you reopen the next morning. For more information, see Non-24 hour sites.
