When a guest checks out, their folio information is moved to the guest history files. Folio data, such as the header and the line-by-line information, is moved to history files during the day end processing after the guest checks out.

How do I purge guest history?

Enter the cutoff date for purging in the Remove history prior to field. All folios with a check-out date prior to the cutoff date are purged. Note that roomMaster displays the last time history was purged.

Once purging is completed, all databases are packed and re-indexed. The amount of history will not slow down your system.

How do I purge travel agent paid detail history?

Go to Tools & Utilities > Purge Files.

Enter the cutoff date for purging in the Remove paid T/A detail prior to field. All paid travel agent vouchers with a date prior to the cutoff date are purged.
