POS SignOn

The signon screen has different options available depending on the configuration on the setup menu.

Enter your initials and password created in roomMaster under Setup > User Profiles to signon to iQ-POS. Your initials are used to track what transactions you do and what security level and functions you are allowed to perform. In order to access any of the Maintenance options, you must log on with Supervisor or Manager authority.

POS Terminal Mode

The POS Terminal Mode button allows for quick access to the Terminal screen. Before this button is usable, you will need to set up a "POS" user in roomMaster. Create a new user with initials POS and a valid password.

From the sign on screen, press the POS Terminal Mode button and you will be logged in as "POS" and will only have access to the POS terminal screen. Train your staff that does not need access to any configuration or dayend close features to sign on using this method.

Note: The POS sign in initials will only work in iQ-POS. They cannot be used to log into roomMaster.
