Item Options

The Item Options tab allows quick price changes, the ability to mark an item as Closed Status (86'd) and set an inventory countdown which will place the item on Closed Status once it is sold out.

To locate an item, press Find Item, type in a partial description then press Done to bring up all items with that partial description. For instance, entering a G and pressing Done displays the item list starting with items whose description begins with G. Any item marked as Closed Status remains on the list but has a line through its description.

If you select an item that is Closed, the system will warn you This item has been closed and cannot be ordered!! Are you sure you want to order it? Clicking Yes will allow you to sell it anyway.

Printer Options

The Printer Options tab is where you can redirect and disable transaction receipt printers. This can be used during slower times in the kitchen to consolidate where the tickets print rather than at different stations through out the kitchen. Only printers configured in the POS Print Manager appear in the list. It is very helpful to name the printers by the items prepared at that station. For example, in a large kitchen you might have Hot Plate, Cold Plate, and Salad Printer. This makes it easy when redirecting the printer to know which station the orders will be sent to.

To change where items print, press Redirect Printer and select which printer you want them printing to. Yes will appear in the Redirected column on the screen, indicating this printer has been changed from what was configured in the POS Print Manager.

To stop printing to all printers, click Disable All. To stop printing to a single printer, highlight the printer and click Disable/Enable. Yes will appear in the Disabled column of any disabled printer. Click Disable/Enable to start using the printer again.
