Video Display
iQ-POS Video Station is an add-on module for iQ-Point of Sale that performs many of the same functions as the iQ-POS Print Manager except orders are displayed on a video monitor instead of being printed on a receipt printer.
Orders can be displayed in a Multi Display (kitchen/expediter) mode or in a Single Display (bar) mode. Each order is displayed in a different colored box with the table number, time since the order was placed, the number of covers, and the server’s initials. The items are presented in easy-to-read text, with any modifiers displayed immediately below the main item.
The iQ-POS Print Manager can be setup to send multiple printers to the same Video Station.
iQ-POS Video Station needs to be opened on any PC with a color monitor. This computer simply needs to launch the psvideo.exe program. The TCP/IP settings (PORT) must correspond to the same port in the iQ-POS Print Manager.
A regular keyboard can be used to change the display of the iQ-POS Video Station, such as changing the order of checks or marking them as complete. Alternately, a “bump bar” can be used instead of a keyboard. A “bump bar” is a small keypad with 6-10 large keys and is designed for a kitchen environment.
iQ-POS Video Station works with a standard Bump Bar (KB-1700)
