Credit Card Setup
Credit card setup is completed in roomMaster. Once credit card processing is set up and working in roomMaster, it will also work in iQ-POS. However, the printer must be set for each workstation for both roomMaster and iQ-POS. To select the printer for a iQ-POS workstation, go to Maintenance > Configuration and Settings > Workstation Settings > Printer Setup > Credit Card Processing and Receipt Printer Setup > Workstation tab > Use: Default Printer. If the receipt printer to use is the Windows default printer for the workstation, leave it alone. Otherwise, select the printer where credit card receipts should print. Also make sure to review Restaurant Mode in Workstation Settings to determine if you get approvals on cards first (usually for restaurant gratuity) or process the charge immediately.
In the Enterprise and Premier editions, separate Merchant ID's for your iQ-POS outlets can be entered in Maintenance > POS Outlet Identification > select the outlet > Credit Card Processing.
