Configuration and Settings

Configuration Settings are located by selecting Maintenance and then Configuration and Settings. This is where all system settings (Global and Local) are stored.

Workstation settings must be selected at each iQ-POS workstation. The settings stored on this screen are different for each computer running iQ-POS. Workstation settings are based on the workstation of the LOCAL MACHINE.

Global settings can be set and maintained on any iQ-POS workstation. The settings stored on this screen are the same for all computers running iQ-POS.

Export/Import Workstation Settings

When setting up a multi-station iQ-POS network at your property, the settings for each workstation can be exported and saved, then imported to another workstation. The exported file can also be sent to InnQuest Software Support, helping us provide better support to our clients.

Select Export Workstation Settings to save the settings on a workstation to a file. All of the information from the Maintenance > Configuration and Settings > Workstation Settings is saved. Next, go to another workstation and select Maintenance > Configuration and Settings > Import Workstation Settings to open the saved file and import the settings.
