Tomas Connectivity Details

What data is transferred?​

Rooms: The occupancy conditions are transferred by seekda to TOMAS for all rooms.

Prices: TOMAS takes over:

  • Prices from minimum occupancy to maximum occupancy (the price for additional adults is included)
  • Children's discount/children's prices (for exact information see FAQ article Tomas children's discount)
  • Minimum stay
  • Arrival rule (Closed for Arrival)
  • Departure rule (Close to departure)
  • Multiple price lists can be mapped per room category

Reservations: seekda takes over all reservations from TOMAS

TOMAS only transfers the total number of people in reservations (children are not listed separately). For questions about pricing, please check the Tomas extranet.

Not taken over: Maximum stay / MaxLos

Tomas Rate Types​

In the Tomas System, in addition to the "normal" programmable rate types, there are additional:

  • AVAIL_ONLY: the PMS can only send/collect availabilities
  • READ_ONLY: the PMS can only read the data
  • ALL_BUT_OCCUPANCY: the PMS can send/receive everything, except occupancy data
  • RATE_LOCKS_ONLY: the PMS can only send booking rate locks

Only rates that do not have any of the above-mentioned supplements should be combined.

Children's discount​

Children's prices are shown as children's discounts within Tomas. Our system calculates the discount relative to the value of the additional adult. If no price for the additional adult is entered, then we will not pass on a value for children's discount either (even if a children's price has been entered by us).

Upon request, the transfer of child prices can be disabled and you can then manually wait for Tomas.
