TUI Connectivity Details

Mapping process for the TUI channel​

To successfully connect the TUI channel via the interface, the following steps are required:

1. Prerequisite: Approval Form​

Before the setup can begin, the TUI Approval Form must be available. Without this form, no mapping is possible.

2. Activate channel​

Then the TUI channel can be opened or activated.

Information on commission setting:

If a specific VCC charging percentage has been agreed in the contract, it must be set up in the system via roommaster. For this, we need the exact specification of the percentage from you.

3. Carry out mapping in the tool​

Since TUI does not have its own extranet for operations (there is no separate extranet for the operation), the mapping is done directly via the mapping tool:

  • The operation can create the room categories and rates there.
  • The creation is done directly on the TUI page in the tool. alt text

4. Check contract-compliant policies and special features​

Please note that TUI does not support a separate final cleaning fee. This means that rates with an extra final cleaning fee listed will not be transmitted and therefore not sold. To avoid this, we recommend including the final cleaning costs in your regular daily rate.

In order for your hotel to be presented optimally on all TUI distribution channels, it is important to offer at least one fully refundable rate. The stricter you make your cancellation conditions, the less visibility and booking opportunities you will have through the various TUI channels. For precise details and recommendations, please contact your TUI Market Manager directly.

Since there is currently no extranet at TUI, accommodations cannot directly view their listing. A test booking via TUI can, however, be made at any time to check prices and availability.

Content & Images:

TUI uses databases like GIATA to display images and texts. Hotels can check whether and how they are already listed via a Google search for "hotel name site:tui.com" by checking if they are already listed. For new objects, the content process is started internally at TUI as soon as the object is bookable.

Child prices:

The transfer of child prices is in progress. Implementation is planned for late August.

Local Tax (municipal tax):

TUI is currently unable to display the local tax. Guests must pay it on site.

5. Activation​

TUI will then check the data and activate the operation - the business must report to TUI at channelmanager@tui.de. TUI will confirm the activation.
