STC Connectivity Details

Activation​

STC (Switzerland Travel Centre) is a software used by TVBs.

  1. Request your STC Id from hotelhelpdesk@stc.ch.
  2. Apply for the activation of the interface in the Hotel Manager and share the ID with us.
  3. Once the ID is entered, rooms and rates can be mapped.
  4. As soon as the activation is desired, please contact Channel Manager support, who will then activate the channel in cooperation with STC (STC still needs to be switched to "webfetch")

Only from this point on will the switch to Channel Manager take place, otherwise there will be downtimes in the sending of booking confirmations.

Prices​

STC only has prices for 1 Pax, 2 Pax and 3 Pax. Prices are transferred regardless of the Channel Manager standard occupancy, which means: in STC there are only displays for 1Pax, 2Pax and 3Pax. If the Channel Manager maximum or standard occupancy is higher than 3 people, the price will still be taken over, but not displayed in STC as 4Pax, but as an additional adult.

The price for the additional adult is determined based on the price difference in the occupancies of 1, 2, 3, 4 people (if available).

The price for additional children is the highest of the child prices stored with Channel Manager, or if these are not available, the price for an additional adult.

MinLos, MaxLos, cancellation policy and CTA are transferred.

Bookings​

Bookings made after activation of the interface can be seen in your hotel manager at Seekda (as well as other bookings).

Information about credit card details: STC does not transfer credit cards to Channel Manager. You must first request authorization from STC, after which you can view credit card data in the STC Extranet.

On our booking confirmation, the following text is displayed for the hotels: "We have received a masked Credit Card Number ('475141xxxxxx0103') (0619, type:Visa, MrsNJTrenear-Harvey) from STC. The full credit card data is available in the STC Extranet."
