Holidu Connectivity Details

This guide explains how the connection between roommaster and Holidu works and what requirements hotels need to consider.

The direct integration with Holidu via roommaster is agreed upon with a fixed commission of 12%.

Carry out mapping in the tool​

Since Holidu does not have its own extranet for operations, mapping is done directly via the mapping tool:

  • The Hotel can create there the room categories and rates.
  • The creation is done directly on the Holidu page in the tool.

You proceed with the rate as with the room type.

1. Mapping​

  • Room types: Each Channel Manager room type is assigned to exactly one Holidu listing.
  • Rate plans:
    • For each room type, there is 1 rate plan (standard rate on Holidu) or
    • 2 rate plans (refundable & non-refundable) possible.

2. Requirements​

  • Check-in / Check-out Times must be deposited.
  • Cancellation Terms:
    • Only possible as a percentage of the total stay (no fixed amounts).
  • Payment Terms:
    • Also only as a percentage of the total stay (no fixed amounts).

3. General Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)​

  • The terms and conditions stored in the Hotel Manager are automatically transmitted to Holidu.
  • Holidu cannot be used without terms and conditions.
  • If no own terms and conditions are available, standard terms and conditions (Austrian template) are used - however, these are only sensible for Austrian accommodations.

4. Static Updates​

a) Apartment Update​

  • Triggered only by content changes in the hotel.
  • Contains per room: address, capacity, number of rooms, location, etc.

b) Descriptions Update​

  • Triggered only in case of content changes in the hotel.
  • Provided descriptions:
    • Marketing description (general, if no specific one is available)
    • Room description
    • Location description
  • Languages: All supported by both the hotel and Holidu.

c) Image Update​

  • Triggered only in case of content changes in the hotel.
  • At least 5 images required (recommended: 10+).
  • To be submitted: room, marketing, general, exterior views and floor plan images.
  • If less than 5 images are available, additional images will be added.

5. LOS Pricing Update (Prices & Availability)​

  • Used for transmitting prices & availability.
  • Supports restrictions such as minimum & maximum stay (LOS).
  • Before sending, the system checks if the affected data is already indexed.
    • After 10 minutes updates are still transmitted.

6. Children's prices​

  • Holidu does not support children's prices.
  • Prices are calculated exclusively for adults (from 17 years old).

7. Bookings & Payments​

Payment processing​

  • roommaster Payments activated: Payment is processed directly through SeekdaPay.
  • Credit card guarantee activated: Credit card details are stored.
  • None of these options: Payment is made by bank transfer.
