Feratel Connectivity Details

Room types

Room types within Feratel can usually only be managed by the responsible tourism association. If you wish to update only part of the rooms in Feratel for a specific reason, this is possible. Unconnected rooms must still be managed directly in the Feratel extranet.

Prices

Depending on your agreement with Feratel, prices can either be transferred automatically or continued to be managed in the Feratel extranet. Flat rates cannot be linked and must still be maintained manually in Feratel.

Channel Manager supports the pricing models "prices per person" and "prices per unit". Prices are transferred from the minimum occupancy to the maximum occupancy.

Please continue to configure additional data such as children's discounts and included meals in the Feratel extranet.

Please note that for each product in Feratel, a corresponding price list must be created in your Channel Manager Hotelmanager if the price is to be automatically taken over. Minimum stay, maximum stay and blocking of arrival days are transmitted from Channel Manager to Feratel (provided you use this option in Channel Manager).

Make sure that the "calculation type" of the products in Feratel is set to "per person/night" or "per unit". This setting is necessary for all price lists/room types so that the interface functions properly.

Feratel 3.0 takes over:

  • Availability
  • Minimum stay
  • Maximum stay
  • Restriction of arrival days
  • Restriction of departure days
  • Sales restriction

In the Channel Manager system, you can define both arrival day and total stay duration (stay through) at the same time. In the Feratel system, you have to choose one of the two definitions. This is possible in the Feratel extranet (see screenshot).

alt text The more restrictive value will always be sent (the maximum of the set minimum stays or the minimum of the maximum stay duration).

Quota by time period: is not supported by Feratel, but a sales block will be sent if the quota is exhausted

Deleting prices: You can delete prices in the Hotel Manager, but they will still exist in Feratel, as Feratel does not have a function to delete prices. In this case, a sales block will be sent so that the existing prices cannot be booked.

Reservations

You will continue to receive a reservation confirmation by e-mail directly from Feratel. Feratel also forwards every reservation to our system, which allows us to automatically update your availabilities in other connected systems. During the processing of a reservation, our system sends an additional e-mail confirmation to the e-mail address stored in your Channel Manager Hotelmanager.

Please note that availabilities can only be updated for those room types for which you have created a corresponding room type in your Channel Manager Hotelmanager.
